i'm baaaaack!

wow!  that month went so fast.  the more years i add to my age... the faster the months go by.  what's up with that?  i really want to take time this summer to slow down and enjoy the amazing life i have been blessed with.  i want to take a minute each day and appreciate the little things that happened that day.  in honor of this, here are some highlights of what has been going on for the past month (since i wasn't able to keep up with blogging everyday)...

my mother-in-law & her husband, tone (our son), my dad & mom, and my husband at
our daughter and son-in-law's graduation from Ohio State University!
my husband and i celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!! woo-hoo!
i love that man!

i found the cemetary in low moor, virginia where my great-grandparents are buried.

on our adventures, my sweetie got to do a little fly-fishing on the jackson river.

we spent 4 days at young life's rockbridge alum springs camp near lexington, virginia.
it was an amazing week!

my dad doing some surf fishing at our families week in duck, north carolina.
what a great place to kick back and relax!

my family got to drive along the beach and see the wild horses
in corolla, north carolina.

we found the town we want to move to when we retire... edenton, north carolina.
i can't even explain how much i loved this place.
watched our son in his first big skateboarding competition.
here he is getting some air.
and... i just today finished the wonky block quilt for my mom!  i think it turned out great... i even got a little fancier on the back.

now i am back on track... and looking forward to the rest of a great summer!  what are you doing this summer??
